2,600 overseas brands will enter to Tmall double 11 this year!

More overseas brands are entering to Tmall double 11 this year.

Those brands include Victoria Beckham beauty, kkwfragrance, as well as popular beauty brands Huda Beauty and Too faced that have previously been on Tmall, and Japanese brand Tatcha under Unilever.

At the same time, it is noteworthy that Tmall will upgrade the social content ecosystem by establishing the e broadcast base in ten cities across the country, including Hainan and Shanghai.

We predict there will be some head-to-head competitions amongst international brands in this year’s Double 11.

“Friends” Function on Douyin!

A new feature "Friends" similar to WeChat has been added to Douyin.

The "same city(同城)" function set by the bottom navigation slider of Douyin has been placed at the top of the homepage, and the new function "Friends" has taken its place.

After experiencing this function, some users found that the overall function of "Friends" is more like the Douyin version of Moments of WeChat. This feature is currently still being tested.

The "friends" function takes into account the social interaction between strangers and acquaintances, leading users to increase their social reliance on Douyin.
