Alimama, is a big data-driven marketing platform under the Chinese tech giant Alibaba. The brand wished to connect with global influencers to China’s best brands. Comms8 was entrusted to connect the brand with influencers in the UK & US and for them to register with Alimama.

STRATEGY

Industry-specific KOL outreach: To best fit the needs of Alimama, we identified 3 main categories of influencers - including technology, fashion & beauty. Through our strong KOL network, we reached out to influencers within these categories to explore collaborations opportunities.

Overarching brand message to connect KOL: To ensure the same brand message was delivered with influencers in the targeted markets, we delivered a well-compiled message to strengthen the trustworthiness and reliability of the Alimama brand with the KOL, to increase registration.
