Comms8 as a digital savvy digital PR agency, our research team wanted to understand how marketers navigate through the new digital era, particularly in the post-Covid period. Our survey result suggested that while 80% of the respondents allocate more than half of the total marketing budget on digital channels for their company’s PR campaign, the average level of confidence with their current PR evaluation method is only 6 (out of 10).

Key findings from our survey:

When it comes to the level of confidence with the current PR evaluation method, the average score from the respondent is only 6 (out of 10).
Social engagement (18%) is the most common metric for measuring the value of a PR campaign; followed by 'branded search traffic' & 'social sentiment' (both 17%).
90% of the respondents agreed that there was an increase in digital campaign activities in the past 6 months, compared to the pre-pandemic period.
