How Chinese New Year celebration went online this year

To avoid Covid resurgence, Chinese government called people to avoid travelling to their hometowns for family celebrations. According to Xinhua News Agency, comparing the average figures during this period, more than 48 million people in 36 large and medium-sized cities across the country have decided to stay where they work this year to celebrate Lunar New Year. As millions stay put, Chinese celebrate Spring Festival in new ways.
